Explore gender (beyond the binary) with our reading and discussion of Who Are You? by Brook Pessin-Whedbee. This children’s book introduces common terms like ‘nonbinary’ and ‘cisgender’ and helps unpack the misinformation we’ve all been taught about gender. After the reading, we’ll learn from each other’s diverse personal experiences. In a facilitated discussion, we’ll explore questions like “What is social identity?” and “Why do pronouns matter?” You’ll go home inspired and informed, with a better understanding of yourself and the people around you. Registration for the event is free but seating is limited, so click the Eventbrite link to reserve your spot: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/gender-beyond-the-binary-a-pop-up-dialogue-at-little-space-studio-tickets-58660093920
